Why use this IP lookup service
IP lookUp is a free IP geolocation and network-identity API: send any public IPv4 or IPv6 address and get back RDAP registry data, ASN and network classification, and VPN/proxy/Tor security signals — no signup required for a basic lookup. Below is a quick map of the rest of the service: a deeper per-IP report, a client-side browser fingerprint check, current plans, and the API documentation for integrating it into your own app.
Full IP details report
The lookup above is deliberately brief. The IP details page adds the full RDAP registry record and ASN organization, city/region/timezone geolocation with alternative-source licensing, VPN/proxy/Tor and censorship signals, a fraud risk score, and threat-intelligence evidence for the same address — content this page intentionally leaves out.

Your IP address is only part of the picture. The browser fingerprint check runs entirely client-side and shows your canvas and WebGL rendering signature, installed-font detection, screen and locale metrics, and a WebRTC check for an IP address leaking past a VPN — nothing is sent to our servers.
Check your browser signalsFree to start, scales with you
Basic lookups need no account. Sign up for a free tier with its own metering budget across geolocation, network and security data, then move to a higher-throughput paid plan when you need it — current plans, limits and top-up options are always shown live on the pricing page.

Every field on this site comes from the same JSON API you can call directly: GET /api/v1/ip for a free baseline result, or add ?include=geo, network, security for the full response. The docs cover endpoints, authentication and tokens, rate limits, and ready-to-run request snippets.

- What is my IP address?
- Your public IP address is resolved live at https://ip.xakki.pro/ the moment the page loads — along with its baseline network identity (AS number, announced prefix, registry), reverse DNS, and network classification. No signup is required for a basic lookup. The full RDAP registry record and ASN organization are on the IP details page.
- What data does the IP lookup API return?
- Three groups of signals for any IPv4 or IPv6 address: geolocation (country, region, city, timezone), network identity (ASN, RDAP registry data, hosting/mobile/business classification), and security signals (VPN/proxy/Tor detection, threat-intelligence matches, and a fraud risk score).
- How can I tell if an IP address is a VPN, proxy, or Tor exit node?
- Request the security feature set with ?include=security — it returns Tor exit-node (isTor), VPN/hosting (isVpn), anonymous-proxy (isProxy) and a derived isAnonymous flag, plus threat-intelligence matches and an aggregated fraud risk score, computed live from privacy and threat-intel signals.
- Is the IP lookup API free to use?
- Yes — basic lookups need no account, and a free registered tier gives you your own metering budget, sized for pet projects and prototypes. Pricing Read the docs
